Nomination and Lottery Procedures & Dates
March 15th:
All schools within Questar III BOCES and Capital Region BOCES should have received nomination instructions via mail from the Tech Valley Summer Camp committee.
April 1st :
Schools should have completed the online nomination form
A lottery system is then used to select 12 seventh grade boys and 12
seventh grade girls to participate.
May 1st :
Families will be notified on our near May 1, 2008 as to whether
their nominated child has been randomly selected to attend or
has been put on a list of alternates.
June 1st:
All selected students must commit to attending the camp by completing
and submitting all registration materials. If the
forms are not received, an alternate student will be selected
to take the student's place.
July 8th, 6 - 8 PM.:
Pre-Camp Kick Off for campers, parents, administrators,
camp sponsors and camp hosts.
July 14th - 18th :
Camp from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at a different professional
location within Tech Valley each day.
